Improve Your Skin’s Texture and Appearance
Injectable cosmetic fillers help diminish the appearance of facial lines, while also adding volume to your face that disappeared as a result of aging or heredity, years of sun exposure or even from certain lifestyle choices. Similarly, chemical peels help improve your skin’s appearance and texture without the use of invasive surgery. Should you have any questions about our medical spa treatments in Aurora, please contact us to schedule a consultation. We’d also be happy to recommend professional skin care products to help you achieve desired results in-between office visits.
Who Performs the Injections at Flourish Surgical Arts?
In many offices, especially spas, nurses, interns, or aestheticians perform cosmetic injections. It is important for patients to realize that these personnel have not had extensive training in facial anatomy, or medical training to deal with complications should they arise. Dr. Nesiba performs 100% of our Botox and filler treatments and has attended numerous courses sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Allergan to learn the safest and most advanced techniques to get you the face you love.

Neuromodulators: Botox Cosmetic
There are very few treatments as tried and true as Botox Cosmetic. The word itself has become part of our modern language. This isn’t by chance, the results are real. Botox works by inhibiting signal transmission from motor nerves to muscles. This temporary treatment (typically lasts 3-4 months) reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and over time static wrinkles (wrinkles at rest). Botox can also be used to slim the lower face, decrease the incidence of tension headaches, and decrease overactive sweat glands.

Cosmetic Fillers
Over time due to age, weight fluctuations, or environmental exposures our face loses volume and our skin loses its elasticity, leading to wrinkles and sagging. The most common dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, are composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar that attracts and holds water to add volume to your tissues. This can be utilized to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, or to add volume and shape giving your lips the pout you’ve always wanted. Both men and women can benefit from this treatment and down time is minimized by going to a skilled injector. Visit Flourish Surgical Arts today for a consultation and let us help you fight the signs of aging.

Kybella
A double chin can be problematic for both men and women. A sculpted jawline thins the face and gives a strong and energetic look to the face. Submental fat is often the cause of a double chin and this fat can be extremely difficult to lose with exercise and diet modification. Deoxycholic acid (Kybella) is an enzyme naturally formed in the body used to help dissolve and absorb fat. Through a series of injections, submental fat can be eliminated in a non-surgical manner. Results from this procedure are permanent but not everyone is a candidate. Visit Flourish Surgical Arts in Aurora to see if Kybella is the right treatment for you.

Chemical Peels and Skin Care
Chemical peeling is a time tested procedure that when performed by an expert can produce significant improvement in the skin. As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and can develop dyschromias (uneven coloration). Peels can be used to correct these problems. Chemical peeling can be done at different levels to achieve the desired effects. Superficial peels, often offered at beauty salons may be able to remove the outermost layer of skin giving you a “glow” for a few weeks, but deeper peeling is needed to make significant changes to the skin. These peels typically require IV sedation but the healing process is virtually pain free. New collagen will form within the dermis and skin tightening as well as improvement in wrinkles and skin coloration can be expected.
At Flourish Surgical Arts, we also offer medically tested and proven skin care to prepare you for your peel and for everyday use to give you radiant and youthful skin.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a technique that utilizes tiny, adjustable needles to cause micro-trauma in the dermis (deep layer of skin) to stimulate collagen formation. Increased collagen formation leads to improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, and even acne scars. At Flourish
Surgical Arts, we only utilize the FDA approved Skinpen™. This treatment can be combine with the use of growth factors such as PRP (platelet rich plasma)to help further increase positive changes in the skin. This safe and relatively non-invasive treatment can be accomplished with topical anesthesia and has minimal down time. Let Dr. Nesiba help you improve the quality of your skin with a microneedling treatment in Aurora Colorado.
